Description

The Exped SIM UL M is the ultralight version of their classic SIM or Self Inflatable Mat. At 3.8cm thick this self inflatable hiking mat is about as comfy as they get before you start heading into the fully inflatable styles. The advantage of the self inflatables though is that they are more durable and in the unlikely even of a puncture, they will still keep you insulated from the ground because of the dense foam. Because of this they are loved by classic hikers, mountaineers and school groups. 

The Exped SIM UL 3.8M has two easy to use one way valves. This not only makes setting up easy but more importantly packing away as the mat won't try to suck in air when you've only got the deflate valve open.
